The Ascended Masters are those who have physically walked through eons of time as leaders, prophets, teachers, and physicians of the soul. On earth, their human stories were marked with an adept commitment of free will in service to an evolutionary cause. Embodying enlightenment through innumerable lifetimes, these souls acted as messengers from the original Source for a culture, civilization or planet.

With each transition from liberated human form back to spirit, these Self-Realized souls may choose to remain embodied as an Ascended Master. In a heavenly realm these masters continue their evolutionary service to a planet, becoming spiritual guides for an individual or culture. Certain Ascended Masters, motivated by a profound compassion for all creation, remain in this realm for spans of eternity. In the Buddhist tradition, an Ascended Master would be known as a Bodhisattva, one who has attained enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient (feeling) beings.

There are Ascended Masters from every culture and spiritual tradition, and they collaborate in harmony with one another for peace on earth. Iconic religious deities, such as the Hindu god Lord Ganesha or the Greek goddess Pallas Athena, are also active participates in this heavenly spirit realm. Some divinities are Ascended Masters who have become deified over eons of service to a planet. Collectively, these masters of light are currently assisting humanity’s shift into a new paradigm of awakened consciousness.

  The Ascended Masters will mentor anyone who desires to serve as an Earth Guardian, whose skills include (but are not limited to): how to work with the earth’s ley lines, protect sacred sites, create effective community gatherings/ceremonies that honor the earth, and practice inter-species diplomacy.

• Once your heart has identified an emotional connection with an Ascended Master, research them. What teachings, stories, and archetypes does this master exemplify for you as a Spirit Walker? Place a picture of the Ascended Master where you will visually connect with their image often, especially in meditation.

• As your trust grows by receiving consistent spiritual assistance from your selected guide, working with other Ascended Masters will occur naturally over time. Often, masters from the same lineage will be working with the one you select, assisting in your Spirit Walk.

• The Ascended Masters – including the deities – represent a facet of the original Source. They are here to guide us deeper into our own relationship with the Source that created us, including the Source that exists within us as the I AM Presence.

• The Ascended Masters teach how to access the Self-Realized Master within each of us. They honor and recognize us as equals in our journey through eternity. They are spiritual guides who at some point in eternity walked in form, just as we are now.

While living in Boston I frequented a Tibetan Buddhist shop, which is where my journey with the Ascended Masters began. Rustling through stacks of meditation books, I felt a tangible Presence call to me from across the room. Magnetized, I followed its energetic pull and found myself standing before a beautiful Quan Yin statue, the compassionate goddess of mercy.

Staring into her face, gentle waves of inner peace rolled through my body and I felt held by a heavenly Presence. Although I knew nothing about the statue, I decided to bring her home with me. That day I intuitively built my first altar, placing Quan Yin in the center.

Through meditation I opened my heart to Quan Yin by asking for daily guidance in how to love, forgive, and have patience with myself and others. Her Presence as a nurturing spirit guide was essential support in trusting myself amidst a challenging spiritual awakening. I began to see her spirit sweeping through the loft I lived in, blessing my home. Every time I invoked Quan Yin, she was immediately there, her gentle spirit a soothing balm for my soul.

As my spiritual journey progressed, Quan Yin began escorting other Ascended Masters into my life. She would always contact me first and ask if I was ready to receive a new teacher – for with every additional guide came next level initiations and training. My human experience as a Spirit Walker felt validated with that consideration. I have found all the Ascended Masters to be consistently honorable in this way.

Quan Yin introduced me to additional feminine Ascended Masters such as Mother Mary, Mary Magdelan and the Order of Magdelana, Isis, the Hathors, Sekhmet, Bridget, Joan of Arc, Diana, Kali, Lakshmi, Green Tara, and Sri Anandamayi Ma.

Masculine Ascended Masters also began appearing and over time I started Spirit Walking with Thoth, St. Germain, Master Hilarion, Jesus, Yogananda, Babaji, Ganesha, Shiva, Maharaji-ji (Shri Neem Karoli Baba), and certain Tibetan buddhic deities such as Vajrabhairava.

A cherished memory involving a masculine Ascended Master happened after visiting the Self-Realization Fellowship temple in Encinitas, CA. I returned home to my apartment in San Francisco with an altar card of a Yogananda portrait. Soon after my pilgrimage, the spirit of Yogananda began appearing to me as sitting in the chair closest to where I had hung the picture on the wall.

With sparkling eyes, the appearance of his gentle being would fill my apartment with a radiant, familiar Presence that felt comforting during a time of great transition. I would practice interacting with his spirit and came to rely on his loving Presence as a fatherly guardian of my spiritual journey.

Spirit Walking with the Ascended Masters has taught me to know, love, heal, and empower myself first as an essential touchstone in service to others. They guide me to opportunities of initiation that cleanse and activate my awareness of the Source Within.

The Ascended Masters are alchemists, helping me cultivate an offering for the world I live in. Their loving Presence keeps me accountable in fully claiming my humanity – including how I have suffered and the journey through suffering into self-revelation, so that I might share this pathway with others.

In my human journey, the Ascended Masters have been both empathetic and highly motivating teachers. Although patient, they are persistent spirit guides, as their emphasis is in encouraging us to fulfill our divine purpose while on earth. I connect with their Presence most deeply when I am in spiritual service.

As multidimensional avatars the Ascended Masters can assist anyone, at any time. With the invocation of their Presence in your life, they will act as spiritual guides for as long as you require their assistance. We simply need to extend the invitation to receive heavenly help from a master of light.

The realm of the Ascended Masters is also open to anyone who is seeking a customized higher education in the spirit world. Ascended Masters are often associated with either initiating or evolving a lineage of spiritual wisdom during their earthly life. Jesus, Mary Magdelan, and Mother Mary were the pioneering teachers and living embodiment of Gnostic Christianity, a spiritual faith alchemizing mystical Judaism, ancient Egyptian mystery practices, and the wisdom traditions of Sophia.

The mystical teachings that Jesus and Mary Magdalen presented were revolutionary for their culture and time. As in every great lineage, the foundational principle of their faith was that all people may directly experience the original Source for themselves.
