The Native American ancestors of this continent are still very present with us in spirit. In native traditions, the animal spirits are acknowledged as intricate to their ancestry lineage. Indigenous medicine and holy work is filled with the teachings of animal spirit totems and the energies they represent.
When we work with the ancestors of this land we are connecting not only with the Grandmothers and Grandfathers in spirit who continue to honor the earth but also their animal spirit guardians.
Although there are still many planetary paradigm shifts that are in transition, the time of the white buffalo has finally arrived. This is an indication of the whirling rainbow Hopi prophecy coming true as well as an opening of the gates from the other side for clear communication with our ancestors and All Our Relations. Working with the ancestry of the land we live on is a powerful way to deepen our spirit walking.
In this time of ascension it is of utmost importance to also connect with the ancestry of our birth lineages. Our spirit walking directly impacts countless generations that walked the earth before us and who still journey will us from the spirit realms. Both spiritual gifts and diseases are passed through the crystalline recorder of our DNA. We must begin to take responsibility for transmuting the social conditioning and programming our DNA has received from the pain of our ancestry and claim the divine gifts that come from the strength of our human ancestry.
Also of note, we may be attracted to indigenous or spiritual traditions that do not reflect our connection to the land we live on or our direct ancestry. A heart affinity for the unrelated energies of a distant land or time indicate a past life or lives whose ancestry is calling to you. As infinite souls we experience numerous incarnations on this planet as well as others. There may be ancestors seeking to connect with us that may surprise us at first but are essential keys in our Spirit Walking.
Working with the ancestral realm is such a gift. These are spirits who walked the earth many times and know what it means to struggle, grieve, manifest and heal. When we cry, they dry our tears, when we succeed, they are celebrating our success for it was their bones and bodies that carried us forth into our manifested moment of becoming human. Any heartache or victory is, in a sense, theirs as well.
